Nikolle Doolin is a voice actor and writer from New England. She has performed voice-overs and narrations for various mediums (audiobook, podcast, e-learning, game, film, video, and radio). She produces a podcast called Audio Literature Odyssey in which she narrates classic literature. Nikolle also performs contemporary narrations for a number of popular and award-winning podcasts, such as: The NoSleep Podcast, Tales To Terrify, Far-Fetched Fables, StarShipSofa, and Manor House.
When Nikolle isn’t narrating stories, she’s writing them. She writes fiction, poetry, and plays. Her work has appeared in the Wilderness House Literary Review, Tales to Terrify, 3:AM Magazine, 365 Tomorrows, Flashshot, and the literary anthology Wilderness House Literary Review – The Best of Volume 3. Additionally, her stage plays have been presented in festivals.
Nikolle studied writing and trained as an actor for the theatre. She explored the crafts of fiction and nonfiction, as well as screen and stage plays, with professionals such as the senior editor of Masterpiece Theatre and the former editor of Agni. Nikolle also trained with actors and directors from the American Repertory Theatre and the MXAT Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard. Her experiences in the theatre included: acting, directing, playwriting, production management, set construction, running crew, and stage combat.
